Infertility Roller Coaster

I am the author of Riding the Infertility Roller Coaster: a Guide to Educate and Inspire. I wrote this book to help empower, educate, and support men and women who are engaged in their own battles with infertility. I also included information for family and friends to help them understand the unique challenges people battling infertility have to face. My book is dedicated to all of the children and the parents that wish for them.

I have been a licensed clinical social worker for over 30 years and worked in hospitals for over 13 years. I am also the mother

of a daughter that was conceived through infertility treatment. I promised myself that if I was successful at the end of my infertility journey I would do the best I could to help other men and women in the midst of their infertility battles. Through my work in hospitals I learned that if people had the right information it would help them cope with whatever challenges they needed to face. I have authored 2 books and co-authored a third book. My first book was Patient Power: How to Have a Say During Your Hospital Stay. This is my second book. I co-authored a book, A Book is Born, with my stay-at-home mom colleagues at Wyatt-MacKenzie Publishing. These books all have a common theme. I want to act as an advocate for my readers to help give them the tools they need so they can be prepared to tackle the life challenges that lay ahead.

Since my daughter, Grace's birth, I have devoted my time and energy to helping people learn to cope with the challenges of infertility. I have done volunteer work for RESOLVE, the national infertility association. I also have led groups, did individual counseling, workshops and continue to write articles and speak on infertility related topics. It is my hope that my work will help you.
